Oscar's time at a shelter was about up . . . he'd been there a little too long. Fortunately a kind soul spared him and he was placed with KPR, part pug, part weiner (mostly weiner). He had apparently been mauled by some animal prior to his arriving at the shelter and he had multiple wounds on his back.

I'd been looking for a companion for Samantha, age 15 (also pictured), who lost her long time buddy a while back. She's an alpha by nature and needed the competitiveness of another dog around. I had looked high and low . . . the dogs were either too big, too young, too hyper . . . but then I stumbled across KPR's website and there was Oscar! It wasn't long before he became a member of our family and complements Samantha beautifully.
