We adopted Gomer, formally known as
Gallagher, over a year ago. We've never had a small rescue dog
before, larger dogs were our preference, but Gomer grabbed our
attention with his comical face. We have yet to meet anyone who
doesn't smile the minute they see him. He has turned out to be a
great ambassador of small dogs, proving you don't have to be big of
body to be big of heart. We incourage everyone who makes a fuss over
Gomer, and it happens everywhere we go, to check out the KPR website
and consider adopting.
Gomer enjoys daily hikes in the woods as well as road trips,
traveling as far as Delaware. He shares a special friendship with
our newly rescued kitten Fletch. But, Gomers all time favorite thing
is snuggling with his people.
We don't know the details of Gomer's beginnings. He was fostered in
Hopkinsville, KY and, with the help of many KPR volunteers, made his
way to Bedford, KY where he is now a loved member of our rather
large clan, consisting of 2 other large dogs, 3 cats and 3 humans.
To all those volunteers and Gomer's foster family we are thankful.
Please know that Gomer is happy, healthy and very much loved in his
forever home.
