 Roxie (KPR #2070) is an approximate 13-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix. After spending 13 years with her owners, they brought her in to the local kill shelter.
KPR was literally given 24 hours to come get her or she would sadly be destroyed. Her nails had grown completely around and were embedded in her paws, and she had
a horrible infection in her mouth. After receiving much needed medical care, she arrived in her foster home.
Roxie is blind and deaf and has difficulty getting around, as she has neurological issues (her brain knows what it wants to do; her legs just dont cooperate).
She enjoys spending time outside laying in the grass and spends most of her day napping.
